  1. Hello, Mr. Tavasalkar.

If wanting or desiring is a sign of imperfection, should I give up my desire to be an engineer?

    1. Dinesh Tavasalkar

      Hello John Serenio
I think what Swami Vivekananda want to convey by this quote is really simple. By using the word perfect I guess Swami Vivekananda is referring to people who have achieved their goals and are satisfied with what they have achieved. I assume you are an engineering student and as engineering student you are constantly tested for 4 years in a row. And I think we cannot call ourselves perfect at a very young age because there so many things to learn.

You don’t need to be perfect to be an engineer you need to be curious learner. And yes engineering is tough, but just because it’s tough doesn’t mean you should quit engineering. Many people in India still believe science is tough. But if you can clear science (or diploma) and get into engineering then you can as well clear engineering.

  2. The real and evergreen hero.
